1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Jupitaar ("we", "us", or "our") and our guests/clients ("you" or "Guest") who use our website, Jupitaar (the "Site") to book accommodations ("Listings").

2. Definitions

• "Listing" means an accommodation offered for rent on Jupitaar.
• "Host" means the owner or manager of a Listing.
• "Guest" means the person or entity booking a Listing.

3. Use of the Site

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Jupitaar.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or booking a Listing on Jupitaar.

4. Booking and Payment

• A booking is confirmed when we receive your payment and the Host accepts your booking request on Jupitaar.
• You agree to pay the total cost of the booking, including any additional fees or taxes, through our payment processing system on Jupitaar.
• Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise availability is not guaranteed. We accept payments via credit/debit card or other specified payment methods.

Rates are subject to change, but the rate confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Guests may cancel their reservation up to 48 hours before the check-in date for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date will result in a charge of 50% of the total booking amount.
• No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.
• Special conditions may apply to certain rates, packages, or promotions, and will be communicated at the time of booking.
• We may charge a service fee for cancellations or refunds, as stated on Jupitaar.

6. Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-in time is from 12:00 PM onwards.
• Check-out time is by 11:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

7. House Rules

• Guests must adhere to the house rules provided by the property.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the properties. A penalty fee of up to 50000 Naira will be charged for smoking inside the property.
• Pets are not allowed unless expressly permitted.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
• Excessive noise and parties are not allowed to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors.
• You agree to treat the Listing and its contents with respect and care during your stay.
• You are responsible for any damage or loss caused by your actions or omissions during your stay.

8. Liability and Indemnification

• Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
• Jupitaar reserves the right to charge guests for any damage or excessive cleaning required.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage to guests' personal belongings during their stay.
• We disclaim any liability for damages or losses arising from your use of Jupitaar or Listings.
• You agree to indemnify us, our affiliates, and our Hosts against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms.

9. Privacy Policy

• Our Privacy Policy, available on Jupitaar, explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
• We collect personal information for the purpose of processing bookings and providing our services.
• Your information will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found on our website.
• We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services.

10. Force Majeure

• Jupitaar shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil unrest, or natural disasters.

11. Intellectual Property

• Jupitaar and its contents are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
• You agree not to reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without our prior consent.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
• Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
• These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Lagos Multilateral Court (LMC), as stated on Jupitaar.

13. Changes to these Terms

• We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without notice on Jupitaar.
• Your continued use of Jupitaar constitutes acceptance of any changes to these Terms.
